Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ for Easy Travel

Clear answers on timing, value, and how we plan your family’s trip.

How far in advance should we arrange a resort, cruise, or trip to an island to ensure the top choices are available?

For the widest choice of rooms and cabins, aim for 9–12 months out; 6+ months is still good, and last-minute can work but choice is limited. Early holds or refundable deposits (when available) protect price and selection while we finalize details.

Can you really add more value than booking online by ourselves?

Yes. As a Certified Travel Professional, I bring a level of insight that a no booking website can match. I get to know your travel style, priorities, and pace, then design a personalized itinerary that fits you—not a generic template. I sift through countless options, identify what truly works, secure the right rooms or cabins, layer promotions when they apply, and guide you around common pitfalls. The result is a smoother trip, smarter spending, and a custom-built experience you won’t get from an online checkout page.

We’re planning for multiple ages and interests. Can you keep everyone happy?

That’s my specialty. I balance energy levels and budgets with smart pacing, the right room or cabin setups, easy meeting points, and a mix of “together” moments and free time, so everyone feels considered and included.

Do you handle flights, transfers, dining, and excursions too?

Yes. I coordinate flights and seats, arrange transfers, secure dining and show times, and reserve curated excursions, so your plan lives in one place and the highlights are locked in.

What happens if plans change or something goes wrong while we’re traveling?

You’re not alone. I manage changes, rebooks, and Plan B options, keep an eye on deadlines, and stay reachable while you travel so surprises don’t derail your trip.

Do you charge for planning, and what’s included?

Any planning cost is always shared clearly from the start. When it applies, it reflects the full level of care you receive—thoughtful discovery, detailed research, personalized recommendations, a custom itinerary, handling all reservations, accessing added benefits when possible, and attentive support from the first conversation through your return home.

Can you hold a room or cabin while we decide?

Often, yes. Many suppliers offer courtesy holds or refundable deposits for a limited time. Holding space early protects your dates and category while we fine-tune plans.

What’s the better fit for us right now, Hawaii or a cruise?

It depends on your pace, budget, and who’s traveling. I look at season, flight times, mobility needs, dining style, and how much you want planned versus flexible, then recommend the option that delivers the most time together with the least hassle.

If we plan with you, do we keep our airline miles and hotel or cruise loyalty perks?

In most cases, yes. I add your loyalty numbers and request eligible benefits, and when allowed I also layer advisor perks or onboard credits. I’ll explain what each supplier permits before we plan.

Is travel insurance really necessary?

It’s a smart safety net. Insurance can cover trip cancellation, delays, medical needs, and more. I outline options that fit your trip and timing so you can choose the protection that feels right.
